Hello!I'm Nicholas Black. I'm a native Northern Virginian, having lived in this area my whole life. I have been teaching here since 2017, and I have been playing viola and composing music since 2004.Currently, I am working on music for several upcoming independent video games, as well as teaching violin and viola privately. I am eager to teach or to write music for your next project, so please feel free to reach out!

Lessons

I'm Nicholas Black. I have been teaching in the Northern Virginia area since 2017. I have been playing viola and composing music since 2004. I teach all ages, from 6 to 66!It doesn't matter if you are just starting out, coming back to the instrument, or simply looking to improve. I continually strive to meet you where you are in your musical journey.I use music from both Suzuki and the Royal Conservatory of Music. I teach out of my residence in Reston, VA.
